Carroll told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicboy.com\/WP\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/flippo_1981.pdf\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"607\">Chet Flippo<\/a> (PDF), &#8220;If there was anybody from around the art scene who had an influence on me, it was Larry. This was a real cool dude. I even started to imitate his<br>walk.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rivers appears as &#8220;D.M.Z.&#8221; in &#8220;Christmas with D.M.Z.&#8221; in <em>Forced Entries<\/em> (pp. 81-98).
